The sale is effective as of March 31, 2008. “We were really impressed with the people at WES. We are both family owned businesses with common values and a driving focus on serving our customers”, said Bruce Garner, CEO. “The acquisition enables BAES to further diversify our company in terms of markets and geography”. Tom Craig, grandson of WES founder Ed White, will continue to provide the branch leadership in McAlester. The new business will continue to operate from its own substantial inventory of products, and will also have the ability to draw from the Broken Arrow inventory. “This is a great fit for both companies,” says BAES Vice President Mick Leibold. “White Electrical Supply is a third generation business that has established a first class reputation in southeast Oklahoma. This addition to our company provides a perfect location to support our growth strategy in southeast Oklahoma”. |
